Warehouse Associate – Job Description
Position Type: W2 Employee
Schedule: 3–4 hours per day, 5 days per week (15–20 hours/week on average)
Note: Some weeks may require additional hours depending on inventory intake, order volume, and seasonal needs.

Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations including product intake, organization, labeling, Shopify product upload, order fulfillment, returns processing, and general warehouse upkeep. This role ensures smooth coordination between the warehouse, storefront, and online store and plays a key part in keeping operations efficient and accurate.
This position reports directly to the Owner and works closely with the Warehouse Manager and other team members.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Intake & Organization

Receive, unpack, and sort new merchandise

Count and verify quantities against packing slips

Label products accurately and organize in designated locations

Communicate inventory discrepancies or concerns
Product Upload & POS Accuracy

Upload new items into Shopify, including details such as title, description, pricing, sizing, and inventory

Ensure all products are correctly set up in the POS before they are sent to the storefront or published online

Assist with updating product information as needed
Order Fulfillment

Pull, pack, and prepare online orders for shipment

Assist with in-store pickup order preparation

Ensure accuracy in packing by double-checking items and order contents
-
Communicate any missing or damaged items to management immediately
Returns & Customer Service Support

Process returns following company policies

Inspect returned items for condition and restock eligibility

Rebag, relabel, and return items to correct inventory locations
-
Issue store credits or process returns in Shopify as directed
-
Assist with basic customer service communication when required

Report repeat issues or unusual customer concerns to the Owner or Warehouse Manager
General Warehouse Support

Maintain a clean and organized workspace daily

Break down boxes, remove trash, and keep supplies stocked
-
Assist with inventory cycle counts and periodic reconciliation

Support additional tasks during high-volume weeks or peak seasons
