Role Overview

As Store Manager, you are the heartbeat of our storefront. You’ll oversee daily operations, lead and coach a high-performing team, and ensure every customer leaves feeling seen, styled, and celebrated. From hitting sales goals to managing inventory flow, you’ll blend business strategy with boutique charm and top-tier service.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership + People Development

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a passionate team aligned with the Cherie Lane brand

  • Foster a positive, high-energy, and productive work culture rooted in relationship, accountability, and creativity

  • Lead by example in customer interactions, styling sessions, and problem-solving

  • Create and manage team schedules, ensuring proper floor coverage and compliance with labor budgets

Customer Experience + Sales

  • Deliver exceptional service that turns first-time shoppers into loyal fans

  • Style clients with confidence and keep a pulse on fashion trends and bestsellers

  • Drive sales by setting team goals, coaching through performance, and leading engaging team meetings

  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care

Store Operations

  • Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and operational checklists

  • Ensure visual merchandising standards and seasonal displays align with brand identity

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through stock counts, loss prevention strategies, and vendor communication

  • Collaborate with leadership on local marketing events and promotions

  • Serve as right-hand to store owner, operating with a high level of pride and ownership over staff, sales, reputation, and operations


Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail management experience (boutique or specialty retail preferred)

  • Proven track record in team leadership, sales performance, and customer service

  • Passion for fashion, styling, and personal connection

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

  • Tech-savvy with POS systems, inventory platforms, and social media familiarity

  • Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays)
