We are looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Manager to help bring the Chérie Lane brand to life across social media, email, text marketing, graphics, events, photoshoots, Reels, website, app, community events, and more.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the boutique world, moves quickly, loves fashion, has a strong eye for aesthetics, and can turn ideas into high-converting marketing content.

Position Overview

The Part-Time Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing marketing content that drives traffic, sales, brand awareness, and community engagement for Chérie Lane. This person will assist with creative direction for campaigns, social media content, graphics, email and text marketing, community events, photoshoots, Reels, short-form video content, website updates, app updates, and promotional materials.

This is not just a “posting on Instagram” role. This position requires someone who understands retail urgency, new arrivals, live selling, events, product launches, customer psychology, and how to create marketing that converts.

This position will also work closely with the Owner, Store Manager, Live Sellers, and sales team to make sure marketing is aligned with what is happening in the business day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Campaign Planning

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns for new arrivals, live sales, events, promotions, holidays, and special collections.

  • Develop creative concepts that align with the Chérie Lane brand: classy, chic, sparkly, elevated, feminine, and fun.

  • Ensure all marketing materials feel cohesive across social media, email, SMS, website graphics, app graphics, in-store signage, Reels, ads, and event promotions.

  • Help create weekly and monthly marketing calendars based on product launches, store events, live selling schedules, photoshoots, app pushes, ad campaigns, and business goals.

  • Stay ahead of trends in boutique retail, fashion marketing, social media, Reels, short-form video, paid ads, and customer engagement.

  • Help identify what products, events, campaigns, and collections need additional marketing attention.

Social Media Management

  • Manage and create content for Chérie Lane’s social media platforms.

  • Plan feed posts, Reels, Stories, graphics, event reminders, sale announcements, product spotlights, behind-the-scenes content, and short-form video campaigns.

  • Write captions that are on-brand, engaging, and sales-focused.

  • Coordinate with the team to capture content for new arrivals, try-ons, events, photoshoots, and live selling promotions.

  • Monitor engagement, comments, messages, and social media trends.

  • Help grow Chérie Lane’s online community through consistent, intentional, and creative content.

  • Turn in-store moments, live selling moments, new arrivals, events, customer excitement, and photoshoots into usable marketing content.

Reels & Short-Form Video Creation

  • Assist with planning, filming, editing, and posting Reels, TikToks, Stories, and other short-form video content.

  • Create Reels that are not only visually appealing, but also designed to convert viewers into website visitors, app users, store visitors, live sale viewers, and customers.

  • Stay current on trending audio, hooks, transitions, formats, and video styles that align with the Chérie Lane brand.

  • Develop strong video hooks, captions, calls-to-action, and product-focused storytelling.

  • Help create Reels for new arrivals, best sellers, outfit styling, try-ons, live sale promotions, events, behind-the-scenes content, store moments, and community campaigns.

  • Repurpose photoshoot, live selling, and in-store content into short-form videos.

  • Track which Reels and video content drive the most engagement, traffic, comments, saves, shares, website visits, app visits, and sales.

  • Work with the Owner, Store Manager, Live Sellers, and team members to identify video opportunities throughout the week.

Email & Text Marketing

  • Create and schedule marketing emails for product launches, best sellers, sales, events, live selling reminders, community updates, and seasonal campaigns.

  • Write compelling subject lines, preview text, email copy, and calls-to-action.

  • Create SMS campaigns that are concise, fun, urgent, and conversion-focused.

  • Segment audiences when needed to send the right message to the right customers.

  • Track email and text performance, including open rates, click rates, conversion, and sales generated.

  • Make recommendations based on what is working and what needs improvement.

  • Ensure emails and texts are timely, accurate, and aligned with product availability, promotions, and business goals.

Graphic Design & Visual Content

  • Design graphics for social media, email, SMS, website banners, app banners, app pushes, events, sales, live selling, in-store signage, ads, and promotional campaigns.

  • Ensure all graphics are polished, on-brand, and visually consistent.

  • Create marketing assets for holidays, product launches, community events, special promotions, influencer collaborations, app promotions, and paid advertising.

  • Maintain brand consistency across fonts, colors, layouts, photography, video content, and overall creative direction.

  • Create graphics and promotional materials needed by the Owner, Store Manager, and Live Sellers.

  • Must be comfortable using Canva or similar design platforms.

Photoshoots & Content Creation

  • Attend photoshoots as needed to help with styling, shot lists, creative direction, content capture, Reels, and behind-the-scenes footage.

  • Help plan photoshoot themes, outfits, locations, product priorities, and content goals.

  • Ensure photoshoots produce usable content for social media, website, app, emails, texts, ads, Reels, and promotional materials.

  • Capture iPhone content during shoots for Reels, Stories, TikToks, and behind-the-scenes marketing.

  • Work with models, photographers, and team members to keep shoots efficient, organized, and aligned with the brand.

  • Help identify key products that need to be photographed, promoted, mapped, organized, or pushed through content.

Paid Ads Support

Prior ad management experience is highly preferred. This role may assist with or support paid advertising strategy and creative for platforms such as Meta, Google, and Pinterest.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with paid ad strategy for Meta, Google, and Pinterest.

  • Creating and organizing ad creatives, graphics, copy, Reels, videos, and promotional assets.

  • Helping identify which products, collections, events, and campaigns should be pushed through paid ads.

  • Reviewing basic ad performance metrics such as traffic, clicks, conversion, ROAS, cost per click, cost per purchase, and revenue generated.

  • Working with the Owner to recommend what ads should be tested, continued, adjusted, or paused.

  • Creating organic content that can also be repurposed into paid ad creative.

  • Staying aware of what types of ads are converting in the boutique, fashion, and retail space.

Community Events & In-Store Marketing

  • Help plan and promote in-store events, pop-ups, collaborations, live sales, brand events, and community activations.

  • Create graphics, emails, texts, social posts, Reels, app pushes, ads, and signage for events.

  • Coordinate event marketing timelines to ensure proper promotion before, during, and after each event.

  • Attend community events as needed to capture content, support promotion, and represent the Chérie Lane brand.

  • Help brainstorm ways to grow Chérie Lane’s local presence and turn the store into a destination shopping experience.

  • Support the Store Manager with marketing needs related to store events, displays, launches, and customer-facing promotions.

Live Selling Marketing Support

  • Support Live Sellers with promotional materials before and after live sales.

  • Create live sale graphics, reminder posts, collection previews, product teasers, email campaigns, SMS campaigns, app pushes, Reels, and social media content.

  • Help build excitement and urgency around upcoming lives.

  • Make sure customers know when and where to shop lives, including Facebook, Instagram, cherielane.com, and the Chérie Lane app.

  • Assist in turning live sale content into follow-up marketing, including best-seller posts, last-chance reminders, Reels, and recap content.

  • Communicate with Live Sellers to understand featured products, collections, timing, and marketing needs.

Cross-Functional Team Support

  • Assist the Owner with marketing priorities, campaign ideas, promotions, launches, events, paid ads, website updates, app updates, and overall brand direction.

  • Work with the Store Manager to understand what is happening on the sales floor, what products need to be pushed, what customers are responding to, and what store updates need to be promoted.

  • Support Live Sellers with creative content, reminders, product teasers, Reels, app pushes, and promotional campaigns.

  • Communicate with the team to make sure marketing is accurate, timely, and aligned with inventory priorities, sales goals, and store needs.

  • Make sure the marketing calendar supports the full business — online, in-store, live selling, community events, website, app, paid ads, and special promotions.

  • Be willing to jump in creatively wherever needed to help the Chérie Lane brand show up consistently and professionally.

Website, App Management, Product Mapping & Product Organization

  • Assist with ongoing website and app management to ensure the online shopping experience is organized, polished, easy to navigate, and conversion-focused.

  • Assist with website and app marketing updates, homepage graphics, collection banners, featured sections, promotional messaging, push notification content, and customer-facing campaigns.

  • Help ensure featured products, collections, live sale items, events, and campaigns are visually represented well on both the website and app.

  • Assist with product mapping and making sure products are placed in the correct collections, categories, live sale collections, featured areas, app sections, and promotional areas.

  • Help organize products so customers can easily shop by category, occasion, brand, new arrivals, best sellers, live sale items, events, and seasonal collections.

  • Support product organization for launches, live sales, photoshoots, email campaigns, SMS campaigns, app pushes, ads, and in-store events.

  • Help keep the app updated with timely products, graphics, collections, event promotions, live sale information, and campaign messaging.

  • Collaborate with the Owner, Store Manager, and Live Sellers to make sure the website and app reflect what is currently being promoted in-store, online, through live selling, and through marketing campaigns.

  • Help identify opportunities to improve website and app visuals, navigation, product placement, collection organization, campaign visibility, customer-facing messaging, and conversion.

  • Ensure website and app updates are timely, accurate, visually on-brand, and aligned with current inventory, marketing campaigns, and business goals.

Ambassador & Influencer Program Development

One of the key goals for this role will be assisting in the development and growth of a Chérie Lane ambassador and influencer program.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Helping create the structure, expectations, and goals for the ambassador and influencer program.

  • Identifying local influencers, loyal customers, content creators, and community partners who align with the Chérie Lane brand.

  • Assisting with outreach, communication, and relationship-building.

  • Creating graphics, emails, social posts, Reels, and marketing materials to support the program.

  • Helping track performance from influencer and ambassador partnerships.

  • Coordinating content needs, product features, events, discount codes, and promotional campaigns.

  • Supporting the Owner in building a program that grows brand awareness, drives sales, and expands Chérie Lane’s community.

This program should feel intentional, elevated, and aligned with Chérie Lane’s brand standards, customer experience, and business goals.

Analytics, Goals & Performance Tracking

  • Track performance of social media, Reels, email, SMS, app pushes, website updates, events, live selling support, influencer partnerships, paid ads, and campaigns.

  • Review what content drives traffic, engagement, app visits, website visits, and sales.

  • Help identify best-performing products, campaigns, subject lines, texts, graphics, Reels, app pushes, ads, events, and content styles.

  • Use data to make marketing recommendations and improve future campaigns.

  • Understand that marketing at Chérie Lane must be creative, beautiful, and results-driven.

  • Be willing to adjust strategy based on performance, sales goals, and business needs.

Goals and metrics will be set by the Owner and must be met, maintained, and achieved as the business continues to grow. These goals may include, but are not limited to:

  • Social media growth, engagement, reach, and posting consistency.

  • Reels performance, including views, watch time, engagement, shares, saves, traffic, and conversion.

  • Email and SMS performance, including open rates, click rates, conversion, and revenue generated.

  • App push performance, including clicks, traffic, engagement, and revenue generated.

  • Website and app performance, including traffic, conversion, customer experience, and product visibility.

  • Campaign performance for product launches, live sales, events, and promotions.

  • Paid ad performance, including traffic, ROAS, cost per click, cost per purchase, conversion, and revenue generated.

  • Traffic driven to the website, app, and storefront.

  • Event attendance and community engagement.

  • Content output, including graphics, Reels, Stories, posts, emails, texts, videos, app pushes, and promotional materials.

  • Sales generated from marketing campaigns, events, live selling support, influencer partnerships, paid ads, app pushes, and customer engagement efforts.

  • Growth and consistency of Chérie Lane’s brand presence both online and locally.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience with social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.

  • Strong writing skills for captions, emails, texts, promotional copy, push notifications, and video hooks.

  • Experience creating graphics in Canva or similar platforms.

  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reels, Stories, and current social media trends.

  • Ability to create marketing content that feels elevated, fun, urgent, and on-brand.

  • Ability to help create Reels and short-form videos that are designed to drive engagement, traffic, and sales.

  • Basic understanding of email and SMS marketing platforms preferred.

  • Retail, fashion, boutique, or small business marketing experience strongly preferred.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick launches, sales, and changing priorities.

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple team members.

  • Must be comfortable working toward specific goals, metrics, and deadlines set by the Owner.

  • Must be comfortable helping organize website and app content, collections, products, and campaigns.

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time position. Hours may vary depending on campaign needs, photoshoots, events, product launches, app updates, and website needs.

Candidate must have some flexibility to attend:

  • Major promotional events or sales

Some evenings or weekends may be required for special events, launches, live selling support, influencer collaborations, paid ad campaign needs, app pushes, website updates, or community activations.
